I was given a large sheet or two of offcuts from some plasmacutting. I used the main part as a big sculpture but I decided to play with some simple flower forms that suggested themselves. I had some largish wheel rims and the two sort of came together. I had been doing stars and the stars just seemed to add an extra variation to the idea
