I am often attracted by the form of athletes. They take up certain poses for their activities and some are graceful and some are integral to the sport or activity they are playing. This pose was in the local paper and although I once played tennis ( and enjoyed it) I haven’t played for years. However I can feel her intention and it has a coiled spring type of tension in the pose. Simple but it called to me..
