�The red Tree�
I did this as the first of the new work and it was originally based on a small piece of jewellery I had done at college( many years ago). It was originally done as a cuttlefish casting and I had thought to renew the idea. When I added the red to it and raised it off the base.. (a suggestion from some clients at the NZ exhibition). Anyway it suggested a tree form and I was reminded of that wonderful story and images of "the red tree" by Shaun Tan( such a clever man).
