Early in my career of making larger sculptures I made a piece called economy after our trip to china.. It was based on a chinese coin and I liked the idea of a chaos of pieces making a united economy. This image is on my open sign and I thought it worthwhile revisiting the idea. I did this piece bigger and thinner and the square is on an angle creating a window into the yard. I like the idea of these two common forms ( circle and square) combining also to create a unity.. at least to me.
