I saw a design which emphasised the joining of the sides with nails. I decided as I had Lots of screws that I would make my vase using quite a few screws in various spots. It seemed an appropriate thing to then make the flowers out of fasteners too, staples, nails and screws.It has a certain charm .... in a screwy way!
