I had a few u bolts from the spring people given to me. I made a few U boats and then wondered what else I could do with the ubolt. I decided on a helicopter ( there was a program on tv when I was a kid called whirlybirds which was about a helicopter team and the name seems appropriate as I do quite a few sculptures with birds as a subject
