I have made a couple of big birds over the time.. even a penguin earlier in the year. I was looking at one of the wrens flitting around the place and thought that a big blue wren would be neat. It is the totem of one of the aboriginal tribes nearby but I don’t pretend to understand what that means.I painted it and the paint ran messily but I feel it sort of adds to the “made” aspect of it and I quite like my pretend wren…. Nowhere near as graceful and cute as the real ones but sort of fun all the same.
