I had some glass beads and I had been looking at a simple design by an illustrator called Clare Youngs. She does lovely work and I used her design as a basis for this piece. It also references frank Sinatra with his old blue eyes is back album. I am not a big fan of his but the blue of the eye seemed appropriate.
